Here is an example of how I am animating my video.

In the song there is a section where you see a guitarist playing guitar. Like all of the other frames, this sequence was firstly drawn by hand on paper, photographed using an HD camera, uploaded to my computer where it was then edited to make sure the drawing looked good and had some colour, and then added to the After Effects file.

All in all, I am incredibly happy about what we have achieved this term on this assignment. It has been by far the most enjoyable on the course so far, and I would love to have the opportunity to tackle this kind of brief again. My favourite part of it was the filming. We had such a laugh as a group doing the filming, and we had help from friends that without them, we would never have been able to make it work.

Once we had our source footage, we imported into Adobe After Effects. I created a new composition (originally at the wrong resolution [1080×720] but then fixed to 1920×1080), and as I found out shortly after importing the 900MB file, my laptop found it incredibly difficult to cope with the strain of having after effects working on such a large file, and then adding loads of stuff to it. Nevertheless I eventually managed to add necessary effects and credits to the footage we already had.
